Hysteroscopy
Hysteroscopy provides a way for your physician to look inside your uterus. A hysteroscope is a thin, telescope-like instrument that is inserted into the uterus through the vagina and cervix. This procedure often helps a physician diagnose or treat a uterine problem.

Laparoscopic Tubal Ligation
A tubal ligation, also known as having one's "tubes tied," is a permanent method of sterilization for women. In this procedure, small incisions are made which allow the surgeon to insert a laparoscope and tie off the fallopian tubes, thereby preventing the travel of eggs to the uterus.

Diagnostic Laparoscopy
A diagnostic laparoscopy is a procedure in which the doctor uses a laparoscope to observe reproductive organs. A laparoscope is a thin metal tube with a light and tiny camera.

Endometrial Ablation
Endometrial ablation is a surgical technique used to eliminate the endometrial lining of the uterus. Its purpose is to lighten or end your menstrual flow.

Transvaginal / Transobturator Tape (TVT/TOT)
TVT/TOT is a procedure for urinary stress incontinence. This procedure is performed under general or regional anesthesia. Small incisions are made in the vagina and the permanent tape is introduced via the vagina to sit under the urethra.

Dilatation and Curettage
Dilatation and Curettage (commonly called "D & C") is a surgical procedure where the cervix is dilated and the tissue that lines the inside walls of the uterus is removed.

Cesarean Section
Emergency Cesarean Section (C-section) births are done for reasons including fetal distress, labor failing to progress, or placenta previa. This happens typically after a woman has been laboring and the baby has to be delivered abdominally. A planned C-section can be done for a number of reasons as indicated by your doctor. Most commonly, C-sections are scheduled for breech presentations and/or if you had a C-section with a previous pregnancy.
